Kerava is my little hometown some 30km north from our capital Helsinki. When I moved here around 12 years ago I absolutely hated the whole thought and decided I'd try my best not to get to know any locals and that I'd move to a more interesting place as soon as I could.
Little did I know.
It didn't take me long to see also good things about my new hometown. It didn't take me long to meet people that have since become an essential part of my life. Over the years I've learned to love Kerava and for years already it's been nearly impossible for me to think about moving elsewhere - I find it hard to believe there would another place on earth that would feel as much like home.
These days Kerava is also a really graffiti and street art friendly place. We currently have two legal walls here, numerous commisioned wall paintings here and there, more and more commisioned street art popping all over the place and generally the people of Kerava are pretty darn excited about those.
This piece is my serenade to my hometown and my little way of saying "thanks a bunch."
Kiitoksia. Bygattiin tämä seinä Keravan kartanolle viime kesänä, joten siellä sopii käydä kuikuilemassa. Tällä hetkellä hankea tosin taitaa olla jonkin verran.
Kerava.
...ja paljon rakkautta Keravalle todellakin. ^_^
